HBH Land Surveying has offices based in Smithers and Prince George, and services the Highway 16 corridor from Prince George to Prince Rupert, and the Highway 37 corridor from Kitimat to the Yukon border. Staff HBH has the philosophy that using the right person for the right job is imperative to the success of a project. We start by looking for people with relevant education, certification and experience then provide ongoing training and supervision to ensure all staff members are qualified for the work they are conducting. Experience We have been providing professional survey services in northern BC for the past 30 years. The firm was originally founded in Smithers in 1989 by Stephen Howard, BCLS, CLS (retired), and has now grown to include Gina Hidber, BCLS, P. Eng, Mark Rossmann, BCLS, and Andrew Pearce, BCLS. Decades of combined industry experience ensure that our clients get efficient service and accurate results. Our highly qualified and experienced team includes British Columbia Land Surveyors, a Canada Lands Surveyor, Geomatics Engineer(s) (P.Eng), Geomatics and Drafting Technologists, Party Chiefs and Survey Assistants. Relationships We are committed to the economic sustainability of the north, and so we strive to hire local whenever we need extra on-site staff when working in the field or in remote areas. Additionally, HBH Land Surveying maintains positive and respectful relationships with the First Nations communities of the north. We frequently hire Aboriginal professional fallers, line cutters, survey assistants and guides, as well as consult with First Nations leaders on matters of land tenure. |
